We all know the scripture, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”, Jeremiah 29:11, NKJV, but do you REALLY believe it? There are many times in which I’ve felt stuck in developing the gifts and talents God has blessed me with. Sometimes I think “hmm, is this to much” or “I don’t really know how to do that”.
That is the message I received when I began contemplating first taking down my website late 2017. It wasn’t to end the business, it was because I just didn’t know what direction to go next and I felt like what was up wasn’t representing what the business is about. Have you ever pressed into a vision, a dream even a project at work or in your ministry and things were going so well in the beginning, then suddenly you feel like you are rowing a boat in a vast ocean and not moving?
We are continuing with our guest blogger series in 2018 and I'm excited to bring you another creative, Elizabeth Farr of ElizabethMadeThis.Com. I met Elizabeth while in the sewing community and engaging in various sewing groups online. I found the creativity that Elizabeth exhibited through her creations to be very motivational as well as inspiring. Once, I found out that she is also a fellow Christian and business woman I knew that I wanted to have her as a guest blogger. I reached out to Elizabeth and asked her to be a guest blogger for February, our first guest blogger for 2018 and she said "yes". Read below our interview with Elizabeth and learn more about her as well as what she currently has going on.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I pray your Christmas and New Year celebrations were filled with joy! Here we are the start of the year and it's time to dig on in! In my last newsletter for 2017 to our subscribers I announced that the website will be undergoing construction; and so it begins and I'm VERY excited. I will be taking this first quarter to really dig in and put together a flow and format that speaks to what our message is and that's 'Ministry Starts In The Home'. So stay tuned for updates.
We have been blessed to have some awesome women of God be our guest bloggers here at The Fabric Beautique® . We are closing out 2017 with this beautiful woman of God, Chamel Evans, of Sheilluminates
We are very excited to bring you our guest blogger for November, Roma Daniel, Owner of 'Wear Your Praise'! If you recall last month, I shared the vision to have guest bloggers on our site to offer our readers additional exposure to other Christian leaders we admire and also follow on social media and have had personal interaction
We are very excited to bring you our very first guest blogger! There was always a vision to have guest bloggers on our site to offer our readers additional exposure to other Christian leaders we admire and also follow on social media and have had personal interaction. For the next several months we will introduce you to some amazing Christian leaders. Our first guest blogger for the month of October is Debra D. Jones. Each guest was asked a specific set of questions and have provided their responses. We hope and pray the message that is being delivered by each guest blogger blesses and inspires you in some way.
It has been a VERY long time since I have reached out to The Fabric Beautique® family. Many of you continue to follow us on our social media and we thank you for that. September 1, 2017 was dedicated to the launch of our free Prayer Devotional downloads. I had a great “plan” in place to release the download, open The Fabric Beautique® Facebook group and a host of other things.
How would you answer that question? If you actually sit back and meditate on those things you know God has called you to do or that you have always desired to do, what would be your honest answer? Now, while I fully do not expect a response in the comments below, my hope is that you would truly take inventory of where you are today in your life and just be honest with yourself
Welcome to 2019! We hope and pray that this year brings to fruition blessings overflowing and exceeding any expectations you may have.
